The Nevada Department of Transportation (NDOT), in partnership with the Regional Transportation Commission of Washoe County (RTC), invites you to attend a public meeting to learn about upcoming construction activities and to meet the team for Phase 1 of the Pyramid Highway Project: Queen Way to Golden View Drive. Pyramid Highway will be widened from four to six lanes from Queen Way to Los Altos Parkway, and four lanes will be maintained from Los Altos to Golden View Drive. Other improvements include: bike lanes, curb and gutter, raised median, drainage infrastructure, a 10-foot shared use path, landscaping and aesthetic features, smart traffic signals, and decorative sound/screen walls Meeting material is also available online from April 10-21, 2023. • Virtual meeting option: Visitors can view project information and provide comments by visiting the virtual public meeting any time April 10-21, 2023 at pyramidhighway.com. Both English and Spanish language will be available.
• In-person meeting option: An in-person open house public meeting will be held Tuesday, April 18 between 4-7 p.m. at Sepulveda Elementary School, 5075 Ion Drive in Sparks. A formal presentation will be held at 5:30 p.m.
