Project Overview
This is the final phase of improvements to the I-15 North Corridor Environmental Assessment. The original project limits were from the Speedway Boulevard Interchange to the Apex Interchange. Following a 2007 environmental assessment, the project limits were extended 6.1 miles north of Apex to the Garnet Interchange (US 93).
A 10.7-mile stretch of I-15 will be widened from four lanes to six lanes (first construction package). The second construction package includes a new weigh station, enforcement improvements, truck parking and an interchange between Speedway and Apex.
