Welcome to NDOT Right-of-Way
NDOT Right-of-Way's primary responsibility is to acquire property needed for highway purposes and to relocate displaced businesses or persons. NDOT Right-of-Way is also responsible for the management of properties acquired, the oversight of local government highway projects using state and federal funds, utilities, access management, statewide permits, right-of-way plans, maps and records.

Acquisition and Relocation Assistance
The Nevada Department of Transportation’s Right-of-Way Division performs acquisition and relocation functions and provides full implementation in accordance with the Uniform Relocation Assistance and Real Property Acquisition Policies Act of 1970, as amended (Uniform Act) in the relocation, advisory assistance, and reimbursement of displaced persons and businesses.
