Surplus Property Auction

Public sales, under NRS 408.533, may be sold by public auction or sealed bids. The highest bid received must be 90 percent or more of the Department’s fair market value appraisal of the property, to which the property may be sold to the highest bidder.

Sealed Bid Details:

1. Bids are accepted on a 2-week rolling period.  If no bids are received, the bid will reopen for another 2 weeks, until bids are received.
2. To submit a bid, please complete a Sealed Bid Proposal (Form 889). Link
3. All bids must be received by 5:00 pm of the stated deadline.
4. A cashier’s check or money order of 10% Deposit must accompany the bid or bid will be disqualified.
5. Deposits will be returned to unsuccessful bidders.
