I-15 Central Corridor Public Meeting

Virtual and In-Person Public Information Meeting: I-15 Central Corridor 

PURPOSE OF MEETING: The Nevada Department of Transportation (NDOT), in cooperation with the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), invites you to participate in a virtual and in-person public information meeting for the I-15 Central Corridor project. In compliance with the National Environmental Policy Act of 1969 (NEPA), NDOT is preparing an environmental study to evaluate and document the proposed project’s potential environmental impacts. Decisions made as part of this NEPA study will lead to final design and ultimately construction. 

PROJECT BENEFITS: The I-15 Central Corridor project’s goals are to resolve existing roadway and operational deficiencies to decrease congestion, provide transportation improvements to accommodate existing and future growth areas, and accommodate regional and local plans.

Central MapWHEN AND WHERE: The virtual meeting will be open from January 17, 2024, through February 16, 2024, at 5pm, available 24 hours a day via the internet at www.i15central.com. The in-person meeting will be held on January 31, 2024, from 4pm to 7pm at the Clark County Building Department, 4701 W. Russell Road, Las Vegas, NV. Public access to computers and/or hard copies of the presentation will be available at the Spring Valley Library, 4280 S Jones Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89103.

WHERE YOU COME IN: Members of the public are encouraged to participate at their convenience any time over the 30-day virtual meeting period and/or attend the in-person meeting. In addition to any comments received at the in-person meeting or via the virtual meeting website, written or emailed comments will be accepted through 5pm on February 16, 2024. Please email your comments to: info@dot.nv.gov with a reference to this project in the subject line. You may also mail your comments using the contact information below.

IF RIGHT-OF-WAY IS NEEDED: The Uniform Relocation Assistance and Real Property Acquisition Policies Act of 1970 will govern the acquisition of right-of-way that may be necessary for this project. More detailed information regarding right-of-way can be obtained from the NDOT’s Right-of-Way Division, 1263 S. Stewart Street, Carson City, NV 89712, or by calling (775) 888-7480.
