Virtual and In-Person Public Meeting: U.S. 395 Southern Sierra Corridor Study
PURPOSE OF THE MEETING: Join the Nevada Department of Transportation (NDOT) in person and/or online for a public meeting to discuss long-term needs and a vision for U.S. 395 in northern Nevada.
The public will have two opportunities to participate in person and/or additional opportunities to participate utilizing the public meeting website. This meeting will allow the public to meet project staff, learn about the study, and submit comments. Your comments regarding this corridor will help NDOT identify and address the immediate and future needs of all corridor users, including drivers, pedestrians, bicyclists, and more. Information collected during this corridor study will be used for a future National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) study.
PURPOSE OF THE STUDY: The purpose of this study is to evaluate the long-term vision, needs, and priorities of the U.S. 395 corridor from Clearview Drive to the California state line. A Corridor Action Plan will be developed to provide decision-makers with a guide, which will define future transportation needs along U.S. 395.
VIRTUAL PUBLIC MEETING: The public meeting will be available 24 hours a day via the internet at www.ndotus395.com April 8 through May 9, 2024.
IN-PERSON PUBLIC MEETINGS: Both in-person meetings are open-house format from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. with a formal presentation at 5:30 p.m.

LIVE-STREAM INFORMATION: The formal project presentation will be live-streamed on April 23, 2024, at 5:30 p.m. via the NDOT Facebook page (@NevadaDOT). Live-stream participants will be given the opportunity to provide comments and ask questions via Facebook.
